Accidentally I went to the Children's Paper Cutting Show in Beijing Women and Children's Museum in Dongcheng District. That was Friday May 30th, some of my friends and I went there for a walk, and I never thought I would be touched by those beautiful and amazing paper-cuts.

Beijing Summer Palace: Chinese Royal Park
Located in the northwest of Beijing City, Summer Palace (also named YIhe yuan) is the largest and most well-preserved royal park in China. It greatly influences Chinese horticulture and landscape with its famous natural views and cultural interests.
The Summer Palace was constructed in 1750 as a luxurious royal garden for royal families to rest and entertain. However, like most of the gardens of Beijing, it could not elude the rampages of the Anglo-French Allied Force and was destroyed by fire. In 1900, the Summer Palace suffered another hit by the Eight-Power Allied Force and was repaired in the next two years. In 1924, it was open to the public and ranked amongst the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1998.
Composed mainly of Longevity Hill (Wanshou Shan) and Kunming Lake, Summer Palace occupies an area of 300.59 hectares (742.8 acres). It can be divided into four parts: the Court Area, Front Hill Area, Rear Hill Area and Lake Area. The most deserve to see site is the Long Corridor which is more than 700 meters (0.46 miles) long and ending at the Marble Boat. This shaded walkway is decorated with some 10,000 painted scenes. Following a tour guide, you'll know the historical event expressed through paiting on each scene. Welcome to Beijing to taste the this royal garden.

The Great Wall of China, one of the most magnificent ancient defense works, is arguably the main attraction bringing more foreigners coming to this country.
Originally built 2,000 years ago in the Qin Dynasty (221-207 BC), The Great Wall was designed to protect the Chinese Empire against intrusions. It tretches from Shanhaiguan Pass on the east coast to the Jiayuguan Pass in the Gobi Desert, about 7300 kilometers (4300 miles) long.
The sections of the Great Wall near Beijing were mainly built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), and are considered as the best preserved part of the Wall. Badaling and Juyong Pass are the most easily accessible parts to view the Great Wall.Both have assembled most-advanced equipments, which offer safety and convenience to the travelers. Mutianyu is the most attractive section, especially in autumn, which is fruitful and covered with red leaves.

Beijing Bird's Nest Brief Introduction
Well known as a symbol building of 2008 Beijing Olympics, Bird's Nest is located in Olympic Green Village, Chaoyang District. The stadium looks like a big nest which embraces and nurses human beings and its appearance was formed by big steel frames.
Bird's Nest opened as a tourist attraction in Oct. 2008 after the Olympics ended. And now it's the center of international or domestic sports competition and recreation activities. The stadium covers an area of about 258 thousand square meters ,can accommodate 80,000 fixed seats and 11,000 temporary seats.

Beijing Tulip Culture Festival
Opening from April to middle May, Beijing Tulip Culture Festival is one of Beijinger's favorite Festival. Each year, millions of visitors go to enjoy the beautiful scenery in Yang Town, Shunyi District,feeling the fresh air the Tulip brings.
Last year in 2013, Four million tulip bulbs were imported from the Netherlands, which makes the festival more attractive and novel for people all over Beijing.
This year's Tulip Festival added more color, more than 50 varieties were shown outdoors, hyacinth and amaryllis also shown indoors, attracting more lovers,families and friends to visit.
